Ready for some Christmas fun? Then grab those tickets, reservations, masks, maybe even a festive outfit! And be ready for the magic!
Main Street is all dressed up in her Christmas finest. You’ll spot her gorgeous tree before you even get off the monorail or ferry! The holiday music is playing, the wreaths are up and the smell of the confectionery is in the air!
Holiday Cavalcades
A few mins after we arrived we were greeted by our first of the many cavalcades you can find at Magic Kingdom during the holidays.
Be on the lookout for:
Mickey’s Holiday Cavalcade- We saw Mickey and Minnie, Daisy and Donald Duck, Pluto, along with Alice and the Mad Hatter, Peter and Wendy, Marry Poppins and Bert, Winnie the Pooh and Tigger and even Geppetto and Pinocchio.
Goofy’s Scrumptious Cavalcade- Goofy was of course there, Max was driving a Gingerbread car, the Dancing Gingerbread men, Holiday dancers and Clarabelle Cow! (Also, this Float smells amazing as it passes by, just like the confectionery.)
The Royal Princess Processional- The Princesses were wearing their winter outfits.
We saw wearing their winter outfits were Merida, Belle, Tiana, Rapunzel, Aurora, Snow White, Jasmine, Ariel, Cinderella and Fairy Godmother.
Santa’s Christmas Cavalcade- Santa on his Sleigh with his dancing Reindeer.
I honestly became teary watching my youngest seeing him for the first time this season.
The Dapper Dans on the Trolley- can also be found singing their holiday tunes.
Main Street Philharmonic and the Marching Toy Soldiers
Winnie the Pooh and Friends- Rabbit, Eeyore, and Piglet on the trolley.
*Other characters we came across and some friends mentioned they came across that day were: Rabbit, Piglet and Eeyore were out over at the Crystal Palace wearing their festive scarves.
Chip and Dale and the Country Bears have been spotted in Frontierland.
Santa Stitch can be found on the Tomorrowland stage. The Muppets are back in Liberty Square for some photo ops too!
Holiday Treats
We just had to make a stop in the confectionary to grab some holiday treats.
The kids chose a Santa Mickey Shortbread cookie, a Festive Minnie Mouse Rice Krispie treat (my personal favorite) and 2 cupcakes.
One was Red Velvet and buttercream icing and the other was Chocolate with buttercream icing. The cupcakes were moist and tasty, the kids loved all the icing.
Starbucks also has these two Holiday treats! The super fun “Twice Upon a Cupcake” with a confetti Christmas tree on top of a vanilla cupcake and a red velvet hidden Mickey inside!
Their other option is ” Mickey’s Holiday Cinnamon Roll.” A Mickey shaped cinammon roll with a green drizzle icing. While we didn’t get it on this visit, we’ve had it many times and have always loved it!
Magic Kingdom has SO many holiday treats out right now. Don’t forget to check the “mobile order” tab in the My Disney Experience app to see each restaurant’s Holiday offerings. We have so many we want to go back for.
Ride Overlays
If you want some holiday laughs you’ll want to take on ride on the “Jingle Cruise” (the holiday take on Jungle Cruise)
The boats are renamed for the holidays, plus you’ll see holiday themed supplies and decorations for those camped out in the jungle. The Skippers’ jokes are all rethemed too!
Even Trader Sam is ready to help you get a “head start” with your holiday shopping! He’s selling 3 heads for the price of one of yours! LOL It’s a family favorite of ours and we look forward to it all year!
Castle Projections
We ended our evening watching the brand new holiday projections on the castle!
There are four different projections, each lasting around 15 mins long.
It was a beautiful way to end our magical and joy filled day at Magic Kingdom!
Happy Holidays friends!
