Festive Fun For Families At Disney Springs

The holidays have arrived at Walt Disney World Resort, and if you’re looking for a place to take the family to get into the holiday spirit, there’s plenty of that holly jolly spirit at Disney Springs! With offerings for the young and young at heart, you’ll find something for every member of your family to enjoy.

Holiday Treats

Special holiday treats are available throughout Disney Springs. Satisfy those sweet cravings at select locations, including Amorette’s Patisserie, The Ganachery, Gideon’s Bakehouse, Swirls on the Water, and more!

Goofy’s Candy Company and Disney’s Candy Cauldron each feature a variety of classic treats with a holiday twist, including the pictured Santa Mickey Rice Krispie Treat & Holiday Minnie Mouse Marshmallow Wand. My kids and I shared these, and they were a great size to share.

Christmas Tree Stroll

Next, families can participate in the Christmas Tree Stroll, throughout Disney Springs. Pick up a map from City Works Eatery & Pour House, Crystal Arts, Planet Hollywood, The Boathouse, or UNIQLO, and set out on a scavenger hunt to find all the Christmas trees!

Once you’ve found all the trees, bring back your completed map to one of those locations for a special prize. This is a great activity for the entire family to work on together – my son liked putting the stickers on the map once we found a new Christmas tree!

Santa Claus

No holiday visit would be complete without a visit with Santa Claus himself! Santa is visiting with guests every day until December 24 at Once Upon a Toy. Santa is very sweet and takes his time with guests young and old, even if the little ones are a little shy!

PhotoPass photographers are on hand to take your picture with their cameras as well as with your phone. There is no standby line for meeting Santa; you must join the virtual queue using the My Disney Experience app! The virtual queue opens at 9am, noon, 3pm, and 6pm. Turn on your push notifications so you know when it’s your turn to meet Santa!

Snow & Entertainment

If you’ve ever wanted to see it snow in Central Florida, you’re in luck! Head to Town Center beginning at 6pm where it will snow periodically until 10pm each night! While you’re in Town Center, stick around to check out some of the entertainment – it varies each night, but some of the entertainment you may see include toy soldier stilt walkers, holiday ice stilt walkers, and the holiday drum corps & brass band.

However you choose to celebrate at Disney Springs, there’s plenty to get your entire family in the holiday spirit! Disney Springs is open daily beginning at 10am. Admission and parking are complimentary.
