Winter is here and at ICON Park, you’ll find a variety of wintery activities and events for the whole family to enjoy! ICON Park invited us out recently to check out the holiday festivities, so let’s dive into this year’s offerings!
Experience snowfall every night in December from 7-8pm. If you visit on a Saturday evening, you’ll be treated to a performance of various holiday songs from festive carolers!
My daughter loved playing in the snow. Where else can you see palm trees while playing in snow? Perfect way to spend a Floridian winter day!
The Santa Workshop Experience is open! Santa will be right here at ICON Park Orlando until Christmas Eve, visiting with guests of all ages. The setup is super cute, with clever photo ops in the Workshop on your way to meet Santa! The photography staff is great at getting little ones to smile for a picture and there are various photo packages available for purchase. Reservations to visit Santa can be made online before your visit, but are not required.
Another attraction you can visit while you’re at ICON Park is The Wheel, where you can view Orlando from 400 feet in the air! Tip: kids get a free ride on The Wheel with a photo purchase from the Santa Workshop Experience!
We also visited Madame Tussauds and SEA LIFE Aquarium, both of which have some festive decor and backdrops for the holiday season. My daughter loved seeing all the sea creatures at SEA LIFE Aquarium. I really appreciated how they had exhibits with glass at eye level for little ones!
There were TONS of really cool photo ops at Madame Tussauds – find your favorite celebrity and snap a pic!
Other attractions include the Museum of Illusions, The Pearl Express train, Carousel on the Promenade, and more! Don’t miss the giant Christmas tree, too!
Make your visit complete with a meal at one of the many surrounding restaurants – there’s sure to be an option that will please even the pickiest of eaters in your family!
