Paper Bag Heart
What You Need:
- construction paper
- pipe cleaners
- plastic straws
- scissors
- glue
- hole puncher
This turned out so cute and my daughter loved that she could actually carry a few things in there! Trace a circle on 2 pages of construction paper using a plate. Cut out the circle shapes and fold in half. Apply glue to one of the sides of one circle and place it inside the other, with the opened sides facing each other. Punch out two holes at the top of each side and make the edges rounder with the scissors. Cut the straws into sections and string to the pipe cleaner. Loop the ends of the pipe cleaner inside the holes and secure. Check out Krokotak.com for full details and step by step photos!
Solo Cup Valentine’s Day Craft
What You Need:
- plastic cup
- construction paper
- glue
- scissors
- googly eyes
- black sharpie
We made a heart “person” by gluing some pink tissue paper on the cup, then cutting out some heart shapes for the eyes, feet, and hands. We used a black sharpie to draw the mouth. Then we cut out 4 strips of construction paper and bent them back and forth. Then we taped them to the cup! Check out the full details at Craftymorning.com
Paper Crown of Hearts
What You Need:
- construction paper
- scissors
- glue stick
- white crayon
We made this cute Valentine’s Day crown in only a few minutes! We cut out a strip of construction paper and folded it from left to right 3 times. Then we drew a heart shape, cut it out, and opened up the paper to reveal all the hearts. We outlined the shape of the hearts with a white crayon to make them stand out. Rain of Hearts Craft
What You Need:
- construction paper
- scissors
- cotton pads
- string
This was such an adorable craft to do with my toddler! Grab a sheet of blue construction paper and fold it to make a tube. Glue it shut. Using a white sheet of construction paper cut 5 strips and glue each one vertically on the blue tube. Loop the string through the tube and secure the ends in order to hang it. Glue cotton pads on the top of the white strips and blue tube to make it look like a cloud. Make small heart shapes out of different colored construction paper and glue each one up and down the white strips.
